Ski Team members Hannah Feinberg '13, Maris VanSlyke '15 and Jake Middleton '14 Recently received grants from the Uihlein-Ironman Sports Fund. These grants are
awarded annually to talented and competitive young athletes with proficiency in
regional, national and international levels of their sport.
This year, Hannah,
Maris and Jake were among eleven other athletes to receive grants
organized by Adirondack Community Trust (ACT). The Uihein-Ironman Fund is
generated from a partnership between the Henry Uihlein II and Mildred A. Uihlein
Foundation and the World Triathlon Corporation with the goal to help athletes
achieve their dreams of excellence, while continuing the legacy of Lake Placid
as the winter sports capital of the world. The Lake Placid region has recently
produced several Olympic athletes, many of whom have reaped the benefits of
