Northwood School's Kevin Drury '06 makes first team All-American in the NCAA Ski Championships

STOWE, Vt. - The University of Vermont Catamounts stand in fourth place after the first day of competition at the 2011 NCAA Ski Championships hosted by UVM at Stowe Mountain Resort and Trapp Family Lodge.
Sophomore Kevin Drury carried the Catamounts in the men's GS. In his first NCAA race, Drury earned a spot on the podium, finishing as the national runner-up (2:02.69) to Denver's Seppi Steigler. Drury, who entered the NCAAs having won three of his last four races, finished his second run in first place, but Steigler was one of two skiers to complete their final runs after Drury and was able to post a lower time of 2:01.90 to win the national title. Ryan Wilson of Utah finished third with a time of 2:02.69.
