Three Northwood students recently travelled to Colorado's Copper Mountain to compete in the USASA (United States of America Snowboard Association) Nationals. Jake Doan '10, K.C. Brousseau '12 and Nick Edwards '11 entered the National competition amongst many seasoned Freestyle athletes.
In the Slopestyle competition, Jake finished 7th overall in the Open Class division. Nick placed 13th in both the Slopestyle and Skier Cross divisions. K.C. entered three events and placed an impressive 2nd place overall. In the Slopestyle he finished 11th and in the Skier Cross placed 4th.
All three posted amazing results and in doing so, were able to experience Freestyle competition at its best.
