Fourteen Northwood students recently had art work accepted by the Lake Placid Center for the Arts High School Juried Art Show! The work of Shannon Aldridge '11, Charles Phillipe-Blondeau '10, Courtney Burnett '10, Charlie Coleman '10, Nuree Han '11, Emilee Hazelden '11, Allie Howard '10, John Huttlinger '10, Sam Malloy '10, Hye Jin Oh '10, Marcela Sampaio '11, Tata Xu '10, and Jingwen Yu '10 will be showcased at the art show from February 19 through March 5, 2010.
Two students in particular submitted award winning pieces: Marcela Sampaio '11 received Honorable Mention for her collage and Tata Xu '10 received 1st place for her self portrait.
