Colorado Camp

This year’s Colorado Camp was a tremendous experience for our skiers.  The weather was sunny and beautiful and the training was awesome.  The skiers enjoyed spending time working with their teammates and coaches.  It was a great team-building experience.  Some of the highlights of the camp included seeing Bode Miller train, driving over the Continental Divide at 12,000 feet, waking up before sunrise and riding the chairlift in the dark, training on the same lanes as the US Ski Team, and witnessing teenagers cook dinners in their condos.  The kids managed to avoid setting off the smoke alarms this year…way to go team!  Of course, the daily study halls were also a highlight.

Although the days were long and the skiers tired, the smiling faces demonstrated that they truly love the sport and had a blast.  We look forward to training at Whiteface!
