From Alpine Ski Director, Guy Middleton...
The ski team arrived safely in Geneva and continued on to the Alps and Saas Fee Switzerland. Under the direction of NYSEF coaches Royce Van Evera and Ikuo Toishi, the group of six Northwood skiers joined forces with Killington Mountain School for the early season camp. Conditions have been tremendous, although cold (20 degrees in the valley and 0 at 12,000 feet up on the Glacier). Also staying at the small Inn with the team is World Cup winner and Olympian Chemmy Alcott, Great Britain’s top skier. The Northwood skiers will be in Europe from October 14-27.
