Geology Class Ventures up Cobble Hill

Ms. Fagan’s Geology class took their first field trip up Cobble Hill last week to get a taste of Adirondack geology.  While the class hiked up the rock face, they learned about the formation of the Adirondack dome as well as the predominant rock types found in the region.  It was a beautiful day….the students loved being able to learn while they climbed on rocks dated from millions of years ago.
