Great Sadness

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Chris Ferrier, class of 2000. Christopher David Ferrier, age 25, died in a traffic accident on October 28, 2007. He was a Sergeant with the Weapons Co. 2^nd Battalion 25^th Marines out of Garden City, NY. While serving in Nassariyah, Iraq, Chris received multiple awards, including the Combat action ribbon and Presidential unit citation in 2003. He graduated from C.W. Post last May with a BFA in Film. Chris is loved and will be missed by his family and many friends. Visitation is scheduled for today from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the M.A. Connell Funeral Home in Huntington Station, NY. A service will be held Friday at 12:00pm at the funeral home followed by internment at the Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Autism Speaks, Make A Wish Foundation or other children's charities of your choice. A guestbook has been created as a tribute to Chris.
