| This spring, the Northwood Girls’ Lacrosse team starts another season as a member in the New York State Section X League. With a six-game competitive schedule, we play surrounding high schools including Canton, Ogdensburg, Heuvelton, Massena, Potsdam, and Saranac Lake. The team is comprised of both experienced and novice players to the sport, and we work to improve individual and team skills. Daily practices focus on stick skills, passing, and team tactics. Head Coach Alison Bailey, an experienced lacrosse player, enters the season with high expectations from her returning and incoming players. Assistant Coach Trevor Gilligan will be a solid addition to the coaching staff as he will focus on the conditioning of players on and off the field.
