|The Northwood School Boys' Hockey program fields three teams: Junior Club, Midget Club, and High School. The girls' club hockey program competes at the prep level. Hockey at Northwood has a tradition of outstanding achievement; both players and coaches have gone on to renowned careers at collegiate and professional levels. Northwood graduates have gone on to attend such schools as Colorado College, Denver, Ohio State, UNH, Mercyhurst, Brown, Harvard, Michigan, Clarkson, Boston University, Boston College, Williams, Oswego State, Notre Dame, Plattsburgh State, Middlebury, Wisconsin, and Providence. Fourteen alumni have played in the National Hockey League. Northwood proudly acknowledges its graduates who have gone on to become Olympians: Tom Mellor'68, Tony Granato '83, David Tretowicz '87, Jim Campbell '91, Chris Therien '90, Mike Richter '85, Andrea Kilbourne-hill '98, and Craig Conroy '90. |
