Students have been enjoying their demanding winter schedules thus far. While skiers pack for their week long ski trips, the hockey players ride the Northwood school bus to play a tournament in snow-covered Quebec, Canada. Of course, student athletes have assumed responsibility for daily homework assignments and missed tests. Recreational skiers and snowboarders head over to Whiteface Mountain in order hit a new jump or finish a series of races with their friends from the previous days. Our holiday banquet was quite enjoyable with the stellar performance from the jazz band and guest star appearance from none other than Santa Claus. Students and faculty looks positively at the challenges that lie in the New Year. Right now, teachers and students are beginning to study, study, study for upcoming Mid-term exams. However, the stress of passing exams will be relieved by the much anticipated Northwood Invitational Tournament. Students, teachers, and of course, families will root on their Northwood hockey teams.
